Bailey served as the additional photographer on Winter Kills and Mad Dogs & Englishmen and assistant camera on Two-Lane Blacktop. He was camera operator for Naqoyqasti, Days Of Heaven, the telefilm The Initiation of Sarah, Forever, 3 Women, The Late Show and Welcome to L.A.

He directed Via Dolorosa, Mariette in Ecstasy, China Moon, and The Search For Signs Of Intelligent Life In The Universe.

Recent projects include: Brief Interviews With Hideous Men directed by The Office’s John Krazinski and License to Wed where he again teamed with Ken Kwapis.
